About fPET

The Forum on Philosophy, Engineering & Technology (fPET) is an outgrowth of the Workshop on Philosophy and Engineering (WPE-2007 in Delft and WPE-2008 in London). The mission of fPET is (1) to encourage reflection on engineering, engineers, and technology by philosophers and engineers alike and (2) to build bridges between existing organizations of philosophers and of engineers. fPET-2010 held an intensive day and a half meeting in May 2010 at Colorado School of Mines. fPET-2012 will be held on 2-4 November 2012 by Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (GUCAS) in Beijing, China.

fPET-2012 welcomes contributions on one of four tracks:
Track One: Philosophy of engineering and technology;
Track Two: Engineering ethics;
Track Three: Reflections of practitioners;
Track Four: Other interdisciplinary topics.
